Are you willing to take on the Spinnaker Abseil Challenge for SSJ?
Charity Abseil Challenge
For the first time SSJ are holding a Charity Abseil Challenge! We have spaces available for brave participants looking to take on a physical challenge for a local charity.
SSJ supports around 4,500 people in Hampshire who are vulnerable to homelessness.
In undertaking this challenge event you will be helping us to support disadvantaged individuals in a personalised way, enabling us to provide person-centred interventions to help people learn the skills they need to help them on to brighter futures.
What is the Challenge?
The Spinnaker Tower Abseil Challenge is a 100m abseil from a platform at the top of the tower, enabling you to enjoy unrivalled views of the city of Portsmouth and the Solent and breathtaking views of Portsmouth Harbour as you descend this iconic building.
When is the Challenge?
Date: Saturday 12th August, 2017
All the spaces for our 11.30 Abseil have been reserved, but we still have spaces to join us for the 10.30am Abseil Challenge.
What do I need to do?
We ask that people pay a £50 registration fee* and commit to raising a further £250 in sponsorship.
The SSJ Fundraising Team are on hand to support you with your fundraising- you can do this by asking people to sponsor you directly, but you could also do other things to raise your sponsorship such as a Quiz Night for your friends or a Bake Sale with your colleagues.
*If, after reserving your space, you are unable to undertake this challenge you’ll be required to pay an additional £40 to cover the cost to SSJ for your booking.
