Donate to SSJ

We couldn’t provide our vital services without youDONATE NOW and help us to make a real difference to vulnerable people.

For 40 years, SSJ has been working to help some of the most vulnerable people in our county to develop skills to maintain a home.  The generous donations of our supporters have helped us to provide creative and innovative services, and to transform the lives of those in need.

Every gift, no matter how big or small, can really make a difference. For example:

  • £5 could pay for a set of toiletries for someone coming off the streets and into one of our hostels
  • £15 could pay for a resident at St James Care, our care home, to go on a day trip to the New Forest
  • £40 could pay for a a pair of boots, a hi-vis waistcoat and a hard hat for someone on a work placement at the Jamie’s Computers warehouse
  • £100 could pay for a new bed and mattress in one of our hostels

Set Up a Regular Donation – Complete this form

Supporting SSJ by standing order is one of the best ways in which you can help us to enable the most vulnerable people in our city to transform their lives.

If you would like to give regularly to SSJ by standing order, then please complete this form and send it back to us. We appreciate all standing order donations, whether big or small; whatever you feel able to give will help us to make a real difference.

Our local community does not stay the same; it constantly changes and develops. In a similar way the needs and difficulties faced by vulnerable people in our community also change over time. The Society of St James seeks to adapt to these changes and provide services that reflect local need. Standing orders play a big part in helping us to do this as they help us to plan more effectively for the future. Furthermore, they cut administration costs so that more money can go directly to our services.

Making your donation by standing order is a convenient way for you to give regular support. You can alter or stop your standing order at any time by contacting your bank.
