StreetSmart Campaign – Hampshire

An introduction to StreetSmart Hampshire can be found here.
StreetSmart is an excellent way for restaurateurs to give back to their local communities at no cost to themselves. The success of bringing StreetSmart to Hampshire in 2011 has been the perfect springboard into 2012. StreetSmart offers a uniquely simple opportunity for restaurants to get involved with our work, through doing what they do best!

ONE BIG Sleepout

This will become a Hampshire wide event whereby many groups will spend the night under the stars simultaneously.
On 9 March 2012 the first ONE BIG Sleepout was held, to raise awareness and funds for those at risk of homelessness supported by the Society of St James.
Being a county wide event, this represents a fun way to get involved with fundraising, and, more importantly, raising awareness of homelessness and surrounding issues in your area.

Skinny Steve: Wants you to take notice

Joe Miller, a Solent University student undertook some Guerrilla marketing to raise awareness of homelessness and The Society of St James.
We’re actively encouraging media and PR students to get involved with the Skinny Steve Campaign, by running with the tagline, “How long until you take notice?” and creatively pushing that message out into their local communities.
