Starting Salary: £21,920
The Society wishes to recruit a full-time Senior Recovery Worker for its Portsmouth Homelessness Service, which provides housing-related support to people with histories of homelessness, substance and alcohol problems and mental health problems.
You will be required to work your hours flexibly across the whole service to ensure that the service is adequately staffed at all times, so you must expect to work some evening and weekend shifts as part of the rota.
You will need to have experience and knowledge of the needs of vulnerable people with histories of homelessness, severe alcohol dependency, substance use and mental health problems. You will also need experience of managing, supervising and motivating a staff team.
A relevant qualification or willingness to undertake a relevant qualification is essential.
